SPEAKER_05

Caesar is the guy behind the camera. He's the editor and the man behind everything that you guys see visually. Uh, huge shout out to Caesar again. Um, and if you guys haven't noticed, we're live here right now at the Warner's Theater, a historical landmark that we've been doing, and we're grateful to be here. Shout out to Ralph Edwards for having us out here for the Valentine's Night. You already know it's gonna be incredible. What do you how do you guys feel?

SPEAKER_08

Anxious, nervous? Well, uh, we've been here since earlier. So yeah, I just got here, got out of work, pulled up. The post-event was crazy. It was it was a good experience. I ain't gonna lie. I ain't gonna lie.

SPEAKER_05

Yeah, absolutely. We've been yeah, we've been here since the rehearsal, and seeing seeing Ralph, you know, rehearse and his whole crew of Kenny, Sadie doll. Like it was just an amazing feeling, an amazing vibe. And we were on the stage with them, like getting behind the scenes. He actually has the meta glasses, so stay tuned for that content. I know that's gonna be incredible.

SPEAKER_08

Yeah, so cool. Um I guess we're gonna be waiting for uh guests and people to come around, show some love, show, talk. We're gonna ask them about what their experience and what they're looking forward to.

SPEAKER_05

Genny popping, getting a little busy, yeah, just a little bit, yeah. So, yeah, bathrooms downstairs. We went downstairs. Remember, we went through the little tunnels and all that. Yeah, but I don't remember it being out here. I remember we went through the halls, went through the whole building. I remember coming through here because remember we went through the whole building, so we went all the way to the street view where there's that elevator that takes takes us shit up to the street.

SPEAKER_06

Oh, that's right. Right. Listen, you gotta remember I drink a lot. Right. I gotta drink for two because he's I'm sober. It helps out. It does, it does for one of us. It's more of a support on my end. I just I just do it because for the fun of the for the love of the game.

SPEAKER_05

Love of the game.

Backstage Rehearsals And Meta Glasses

SPEAKER_06

Now we are back, um, just kind of doing a live segment. Kind of letting letting things roll, letting the energy roll as it comes along. As you can see, we've got a little bit more people coming in. Um at the moment, it is 7.22, so we're gonna go to the show. Which ain't good.

SPEAKER_05

Which is a good sign. Yeah, not that it ain't good, it's a good sign since it's 7.20. Gotta be 7.30, and there's already this much traction. Yeah. Which is good because then Mia May, who's opening the event, is gonna have um a good crowd.

SPEAKER_06

Yeah, and I'm excited for Mia May, because I mean, like I said, she's been very persistent with her music. Again, another local that just deserves a huge spotlight. So hopefully, we get a lot of good uh captured video and content for Mia May today. Um, I think this is going to be a very successful event. So, shout out Ralph Edwards for having us out here today. Shout out for having us being able to see this amazing live event. Uh I mean, this is history in the making, every single day, every single event.

SPEAKER_05

Yeah. And people are dressed to impress. Everybody's all dressed. Caesar's out here getting content. Shout out Caesar, too. Shout out Caesar, he's really working right now. He is working.

SPEAKER_06

I love the fact that uh everybody's kind of got the idea that we're black today. I love that. I love that.

SPEAKER_05

Uh there's some people that are really fancy. Fedora's, oh, yeah, dress, everything. Everything's all going.

SPEAKER_06

Yeah, my boy got the spider on the hat? Yeah, yeah. Big play up. Right, right.

SPEAKER_05

Nah. How long have you been done? There you go. Now you're recording.

SPEAKER_04

What's up, man?

SPEAKER_05

How you doing?

SPEAKER_04

Let me get you. Microphone. Let's get one in real quick. Oh man, broke boys here. We are live. We're on your tool, brother. We are live, and I'm recording on these too. Thank you. Thank you.

SPEAKER_05

Oh, absolutely. I need to connect to it so that way I get all the content that you've been getting. I know you've got you. Been using it, huh?

SPEAKER_04

Trying to. Right? Trying to remember to click on it. But what's going on, man? How are you guys doing? We're good.

SPEAKER_05

A lot of energy, a lot of stuff that we got going on. We're trying our best to get everyone's attention. I know everybody's just like walking around, just kind of looking. But how do you feel? Are you excited?

SPEAKER_04

Man, I'm excited. I can't wait to see this crowd. I can't wait to go crazy on stage and just have fun, man. This is such a beautiful place being here at the Warner's Theater, and I'm excited. That's good. Words cannot express. Words cannot express, man. Same for us, man. We can't wait to see you.

SPEAKER_06

We're excited to see Sadie all, Kenny Aiko. Oh, yeah, you weren't there for the rehearsal. Let me tell you, man. I heard I heard a little bit of Miami. She was out there killing it. Kenny Aiko, bro. That voice? It's my guy. Oh my god, I thought it was Bruno Martin. Two man.

SPEAKER_05

Listen.

SPEAKER_06

He knows what's up. He know where to find me. Just saying.

SPEAKER_04

Hippoly on stage too, yo. He's that guy, man. He's cool peoples, man.

SPEAKER_06

Heck yeah, we can't wait to see you guys perform, man. It's gonna be a crazy night. Yes. As you can see, we're only 30 minutes in. We got a good amount of hands in here so far. Oh yeah. It's gonna be a packed out place, hopefully.

SPEAKER_04

Keep it growing, keep it growing. Let's go. Bro, it's Fresno, bro. It's people, let's go. Yes, sir. I love it, man. Well, shoot. I'm gonna get backstage and get ready, warm up a little bit, and have some fun. Yes, sir. Alright, y'all. Thank you for having us. Thank you.

SPEAKER_03

Thank you. Thank you. Thank you.

SPEAKER_02

Well, who do we have here? Uh, my name is Brandon Freeman. I no motherfucking body important.

SPEAKER_06

Yes, you are. We definitely had this man on an interview. Um where was it located at? We was at Lucy's when we're doing the Monday Salon.

SPEAKER_02

Monday Salon. Things have changed a lot for that one since then, man.

SPEAKER_06

Yes. I heard you guys have been changing locations. The money salons moved around a little bit.

SPEAKER_02

So we moved from Lucy's, and then we we had like a quick interim location. Literally, we did that one time, and then we moved over to Little Green over Olive and Wilson, right?

SPEAKER_06

Right.

SPEAKER_02

And then we did like three shows, and then uh the homegirl over there, Natalie, was like, Y'all sure got a lot of people. And then we had to move over to uh the 101 downtown. Right, right, right. And then Matt was like, Y'all sure got a lot of people. So we're back in the so we're back in the tower.

SPEAKER_06

Right.

SPEAKER_02

We're back in the tower. We're at Detention Billiards. Okay. Um love that place. They have a speakeasy, right? Well, well, the they do, but the crazy thing about detention right now is it's got new owners, new everything, new everybody. So it has really changed over there. I'm actually helping out with the sound system and like booking music and all kinds of stuff over there, man. It's crazy, crazy, crazy. New, really cool things are happening at detention right now. Well, it's crazy enough. I just went to detention uh last month, my first time going there. Loved it. That was like right before any of this happened. Because y'all know my partner in crime, DJ Nightbot. Yes, sir. He's over there painting a mural right now, right now. Really? Yeah, literally, like I went over there and said hi to him. I was like, it's coming out good. I gotta get downtown. He's like, okay, love you, pick a bike. Like, and so and so I came over here. So yeah, like he is literally over there right now with a paintbrush in his hand and dirty fingers.

SPEAKER_05

Like, it's it's yeah, it's it's really putting in the work on a Saturday night. It's beautiful to see, like I was telling you earlier, man. Like, it's beautiful to see that you're staying busy, you continue doing you got multiple projects, man. That's the beauty of too many. Yes, but it's what you enjoy to do, it's what you love, and you're passionate in the shows, man.

SPEAKER_02

It's you know, if you if you don't enjoy this, it's actually like much more miserable than like an office job or whatever. Yeah. Because like having to be creative and having to be performative and and all of that shit, like when you really don't want to do it, it's actually way worse than just like like at least you can have a job that don't deal with nobody.

SPEAKER_05

Right.

SPEAKER_02

Then you can be miserable by yourself. Yeah, so no, no, like if you're not into it like I am, doing it for as long as I have just won't work. It is what it is.

SPEAKER_06

It takes a strong person to do that kind of job, though. I'll tell you that much. Me right now, I'm a leasing agent. Love my job. I'm customer service oriented, but man, I'm starting to hate people. Customer service is a big deal, though. Yes, yes, it is.

SPEAKER_02

I hate when people like you'll have a business and then you have crap customer service. I'm like, what is your business, my?

SPEAKER_06

Yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes.

SPEAKER_02

Because I'm certainly never coming back. How many other people have said that? Like, you will be closed in two weeks, dog. The face of the business is about to be the best part, right?

SPEAKER_06

Right. So, with that being said, we are here at this live event. How are you feeling right now? How do you feel about this entire event?

Guest Pop-In: Performer Hype

SPEAKER_02

To be honest, I feel a little nervous. I've been doing music for like 20 years. As y'all know, you know, we we talked about it. But this is a little, like last time I was here, my man Cloud Shit was opening up for uh Blue October.

SPEAKER_04

Right, right.

SPEAKER_02

That was a little nerve-wracking too. But this is a little bit more because like I'm representing the homie. Right. You know what I mean? It was like I gotta do Ralph right, man. You know what I mean? Doing backup vocals for you know, Ralph and Vibecheck, and you know, like all of the you know, accolades that he's recently gained and everything like that. So, first of all, I'm just blessed to be here. I'm really glad that he called me. Yeah, um, you know, I mean, I I could say I earned it, yeah. Like, you know, we've been, you know, we've been riding since been pimping. You know, it is what it is. But at the same time, you know, I'm still like I'm glad he called me. Because he didn't have to call me, he could have called a lot of other people. So I'm here and I'm just I'm just blessed to be here and doing this, man. I'm happy to see the merinos, they're gonna be dope. You know, like we just love I just prayed with them. They had their like little family prayer. I'm like, I was just walking by, I was like, nope, I'm being here. They're like, get in here. Heck yeah. Everybody around here is my family, man. This is my community. Like, this Fresno music scene is personal to me. And so to be here tonight is is it's it's it's a it's really dope. It's a blessing and a half. It's a blessing and a half.

SPEAKER_05

Yeah, and I don't know if you guys hear, but they're already getting ready to get out of here. We're getting ready.

SPEAKER_06

Oh we're getting ready. Yeah, so we got Miami coming off from the start. It's gonna be a great event. I think it's gonna be something the Moranos are gonna bring the Mexican heat.

SPEAKER_05

You're pretty good. We can't wait, bro. I'm excited. It's gonna be a real good night, bro.

SPEAKER_06

I'm glad you actually came up and said something to us, because if you would have walked right past, I would have noticed it.

SPEAKER_02

I'm a super nigga calling me real. So I'm in my ninja gear, and I'm gonna I I I walk softly when I carry a big stick. Do it with do with that with you with, baby. I'm just playing. I ain't even thinking like you have to be talking about that. It's Valentine's Day. See, no, no, no, no, no, no, no. No, no, no, no, no. Don't even come holler at me. Y'all go find love. Go find love. I ain't got nothing for you, girl. I ain't got nothing for you.

SPEAKER_06

Listen to me, don't judge. Yes. Yes. Don't even Fresno. I'm just saying, there's not much love out here. Right. We got the broken hot right here.

SPEAKER_02

You know what it is. Oh my God. Y'all are dope. I appreciate y'all, man. Thank you. Thanks for being on, bro.

SPEAKER_05

Appreciate you, man. This right here is the Fresno King of Music for sure. Legend right here.

SPEAKER_06

Better recognize.

SPEAKER_02

My name is Brandon Freeman, man. Brandon Freeman559, Brandon Freeman Music, all Instagram. Uh, check out Cloud Chip. Uh, check out Sinister Purpose, check out the Amber Heard, man. I'm a little bit of everywhere. I do a little bit of everything, man. Much love to two broke boys, Fresno, y'all. You know what it is.

SPEAKER_05

We appreciate you, brother. Good luck tonight. It's gonna be amazing. I can't wait to see you.

SPEAKER_02

I'm gonna get up in here and watch the homies, y'all.

SPEAKER_05

Yes, sir. Let's go.

SPEAKER_02

Let's go. Thank you.

SPEAKER_06

So we are here again with Oh, hello.

SPEAKER_10

I'm Nesha from Fresno, showing love to all things Fresno.

SPEAKER_06

The one that makes it happen. I'm talking any type of artist venue, artist spotlight. Literally, she was the one that got us into Lucy's Lounge, believe it or not. Um crazy enough to see you here at the event. Are you excited?

SPEAKER_10

Oh, I'm so excited. I'm actually really excited to talk about this. Viac is one of my favorite bands. Yeah. The first time I saw them live, not only are they talented performers and artists, I had never seen a Fresno audience respond to a Fresno local band in that way. Like they are high caliber.

SPEAKER_11

Yeah.

SPEAKER_10

So if you guys have not seen them yet, I hope they come out urgently.

SPEAKER_05

Absolutely. That's why we were talking with Gene is like there needs to be more support in the local scene. Yeah, local artistry, everybody. Because everybody puts their heart and soul into it and they're trying their best, and nobody really pays attention up until they skyrocket or something. Exactly. Right. And Gene said it best too. Introduce it to the little ones.

SPEAKER_06

So that way it goes down generationally and they they can appreciate the local artists before they become the Bruno Mars's and the the the Kanye West and so on and so forth. So I think it's very important. And of course, someone like you and what you do in the shining the light on it, and that's what you did change the game heavily. Of course, yeah, of course, for so many different people, for people like us as well, being able to introduce us to so many different artists, these artists have now can say that they've been on a podcast.

SPEAKER_10

Yeah, yeah, it's monumental, and that's the thing. So many people have the idea that we have to leave Fresno to do great things. Exactly. We have enough people who are highly skilled, incredibly talented. We just have a terrible network. That's all, that's all. And so with all things present, that's one of my premises. I'm like, how do I find I want to find the best people who put in the work and have the heart for it? Let's let's do the work. Let's find the people who want to do the work. And so you guys have been a part of that. So thank you so much because you're you're broadcasting not only who you are and what you guys have to bring, but also you represent the valley.

SPEAKER_06

Exactly. Fresno, Fresno people. Yeah, that means a lot.

SPEAKER_10

I like it. I I respect you guys so much. I'm so impressed about the your work ethic and then your heart. Everyone that I like throw your guys' way, I always have such beautiful feedback. And I and yes, and then I always have to, I just love to gloat about you guys. I'm just like, yeah, you're they're young men, they're in it, they're hard workers. Like it really means so much that you guys are not only doing what you're doing, but you're creating a platform for yourselves and the people of Fred know.

SPEAKER_06

Yes, exactly.

SPEAKER_10

Yeah, so some stats for that.

SPEAKER_06

Thank you, thank you. I can't stand my left fingers, I'm sorry.

SPEAKER_05

But it just means a lot. It just means a lot that we are able to do it, and again, we're glad that we're able to partner up and help you out because you throw you throw people our way, you throw places our way too, and you give us the opportunity rather than the other way around. So we do appreciate everything that you do and everything that you've been doing for Fresno and for the love of Fresno. Oh I love that. Oh, that was beautiful. I landed that.

SPEAKER_06

I landed that. I did that. That was right. So, with that being said, who are you most excited to see today?

SPEAKER_10

Well, obviously, Ralph. Yeah, for real. That's so crazy because I met him only one time in my arte a while ago, and I never got to speak to him again. It was just a quick introduction, but I I'm a fan of his, obviously, and I'm always just trying to like promote whatever he does, whatever that the band does. So, you know, to see him again. And also we're at Warner's Theaters. Like, hey, I'm like, and we have a local, we have local talent and a beautiful historic venue. Like, oh my god, I'm in love with this. All of it. Adore it.

SPEAKER_06

What do you think is gonna be the next biggest venue? I mean, we've we've touched a chancy part. We've done here. What do you think would be next? What do you think we should do next?

SPEAKER_10

What do you should do next? Well, actually, there's an all things present live show, okay? Taking place May 16th. Okay. And I think, and for me, VibeTreck is gonna be a part of that. Yes, yes, I was such an honor to be able to book one of my favorite local bands. Because All Things President is all about also giving money to artists. We want to respect them, we want to honor them, and we just want to celebrate them, but we also want to give them what they deserve. And so that would be taking place in May uh May 16th, All Things Fresno live. But I think uh what an avenue that Fresno seems to be going into is multiple intimate venues. Yes, that's something that we are doing very, very well.

SPEAKER_06

Yes, and Brandon Freeman was actually here earlier today telling us about how uh the Monday salon has moved around a few places. He says it's now at a detention dealers. Yes. So with that being said, is the May 16th event being out there?

SPEAKER_10

No, no, no. The May 16th uh location is gonna be announced shortly. We're gonna be coming out, we're gonna be coming out, so we'll have you guys hold on to that. But yes, Monday salon can be at detention. Um, also DJ Night Bye, but DJ's there on Saturday nights, uh karaoke. So yeah, detention honestly was recently um bought in January by so it's woman-owned now. A woman-owned business. There you go. And they also installed a stage.

SPEAKER_03

Whoa, whoa.

SPEAKER_10

Yeah, so they really are supporting the local artists too. They have fans or live bands there.

SPEAKER_13

Oh, so it's not a good idea.

SPEAKER_10

Yeah, so be out there on Saturday, be out there on Monday for the Monday slum of Brandon Freeman and DJ Night Vibe.

SPEAKER_06

Okay, cool. Well, where can we find you?

SPEAKER_10

Oh man, you can find me. I'm Nishit from Fresno if you want to follow my personal Instagram. Um, but I also do all things Fresno. So that's a community culture page where we highlight artists, um, community leaders and entrepreneurs here in Fresno and really just try to promote healing here in the city through community.

SPEAKER_05

Yes, yes, yes, yes. Well, thank you for coming on. It's been a pleasure. It's a pleasure continually working with you. Thank you for bringing us in in your journey because it needs a lot of.

SPEAKER_10

Of course, I love you guys. Remember for the culture, for the people, for the love of Fresno. I love that saying.

SPEAKER_11

Thank you guys.

unknown

Oh, that's so much fun! I love that.

SPEAKER_10

So I love you guys so much. We live right now.

SPEAKER_06

We live now. Uh-oh.

SPEAKER_03

Uh-oh. You know, Audrey Louise caught me slipping a few times.

SPEAKER_05

Hey, being like that. They caught me slipping the other time. Oh, yeah, we did.

SPEAKER_03

I was like, are you sure? Like, oh man, they caught me slipping about that Samsung thing. You know, I thought that was a private conversation with Ralph, but it went viral. Right, right. So, with that being said, who are we with today? Man, you with Vareggie. Yes, sir, Culture Fresno. Yes, sir. Happy to be here amongst you two gentlemen. It's an honor to have you on, man. Thank you for being on. An honor indeed, man. I appreciate y'all and all that y'all do.

SPEAKER_05

We got to get you a whole full segment for you, man. Oh, no, 100%.

SPEAKER_03

Yes, you deserve me know when.

SPEAKER_05

Oh, we got you. We're gonna make it right. We're literally gonna make it happen. Oh, true.

SPEAKER_03

I got them DMs ready to go. Yes, yeah. I know Ms. Audrey's gonna make it happen. Oh, yeah. She can drag me by the ear. Right.

SPEAKER_06

So you excited today? I'm excited, man. You know, you got the lemon peppers. Yeah.

SPEAKER_03

You got the milk matching and you got the change. I'm ready. I'm ready. You ready to go? I'm gonna walk out with a Valentine. You know what I'm saying? I hope so.

SPEAKER_06

If you do, I hope so for me as well.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah, man.

SPEAKER_06

Came in here empty-handed, trying to walk out with something full handed. That's right.

SPEAKER_03

That's right. So, with that being said, who you're gonna walk out with somebody that got the key to that heart, I see. Uh huh.

SPEAKER_06

Oh, unfortunately, this one this one been through a lot. I don't know if it's gonna ever be healed, bro. Right, we'll see, we'll see.

SPEAKER_03

Hey, me and you both. Hey, hey, but we never know. We're gonna still give him a shot. Yeah, of course, absolutely. Who you most excited to see today? Man, you know, our boy, no other than Ralph Edwards, man. That's what I'm here for. That's right, you know, man, to see the man himself, you know, right? Such a genuine human being. I mean, wow, yeah. I mean, how many celebrities have you met that's just like so humble, not scared to get into, you know, with the masses? Like, I mean, he just a great, great guy, man. And I support him as he supports us. And you know, those are the type of people, such as you two. You two, I mean, we are all like-minded with big hearts and just want to serve our community in the best way we can. And, you know, we got to continue to support human beings like that. Yeah, you know, keep them lifted. Yeah, you know what I mean? Because most of the time we we we out here by ourselves with this heart that we carry, you know, to see others do good.

SPEAKER_05

And it's hard, man. You know, it's a beauty, it's a beauty that we can come together and work together. Inspire the next generation of people, you know. I always have this conversation with DJ, right? We're both we both come from different communities, yes, sir. But uh one thing that's for sure, for sure said that everyone comes together and they say you guys make a difference, you guys have impacted many people's lives, right? And and continue inspiring the next upcoming generation for you being a successful businessman, and I'm pretty sure you've gone through your trials, yes, sir, but you're still making it, and look where you're at, right? And look how much you have achieved. You are famous. You are you are famous.

SPEAKER_03

You seriously, man. I I it's hard for me to even you know capture or you know, see that, you know what I'm saying? But I appreciate y'all, man. Of course, we appreciate you, man. Y'all one of the biggest contributions to that, so I thank you so much, man. You know, it's been a collective effort. You know, it's a pleasure. Brought me out of hiding.

SPEAKER_06

And with that being said, shout out Rob Edwards, man. If it wasn't for an artist like him to be able to allow us to be in places like this, to be able to, and again, like you said, such a humble, big-hearted guy. Yes. He treats us like a fan. He treats us like family, man. True. So it's like being able to have an artist like that who's climbing the ranks one big step after another. And he's still humble enough to be like, hey, you guys are coming right here with me. 100%.

SPEAKER_05

No matter how far he goes, he's continuing to shiny light to the city.

SPEAKER_03

Exactly. That's Ralph, man. And I thank you too, man, for making that happen, you know, for culture, man. That was huge, man. It means a lot. I mean, I appreciate it.

SPEAKER_06

We gotta share the love anywhere anytime we can. We gotta share the love.

SPEAKER_05

Yeah, all that all that has been your guys' work, that thick, all that has been obviously Age's and Firefilms to continue going, and you guys are gonna continue elevating. Yes, sir. And we are so proud to see that.

SPEAKER_03

We're gonna do it together, though. Of course. Of course. Of course. No doubt. No doubt.

SPEAKER_05

Absolutely.

SPEAKER_03

I mean, we're we're we're a community. Yes, you know what I'm saying. For the culture, for the culture. For the culture. Thank you so much, man. I appreciate you. Thank you to the channel. Thank you for coming on today, man. We appreciate seeing you 100%. Absolutely. I'm just a call away. Yeah. Oh, we know. I'm gonna call Andrew. Oh, yeah. We're gonna call him Andrew. That's just the dear ain't no joke. I'm actually scared of her. Yeah, right. She scared me too. She is too intense. I know. I mean, especially when you someone with such value as her, you know, it's hard to say no because you know you're gonna need her. That's hard to say. You that little kid trying to walk away, and she's like, don't chuck her with those words. Don't let that ponytail go. That's that's that's actually a build. That's a weapon of prosperity. You're gonna hear that snap. Yep, I'm telling you. Snap you back to reality.

SPEAKER_06

With that being said, where can we find you, brother?

SPEAKER_03

Man, hey, I'm gonna be up in here. I think I'm front row. Okay. Man, gonna go and man celebrate our God. All right, man, Ralph Edwards. Our hats off to Ralph Edwards, man. Shout out to Culture. Yeah, thank you so much.

SPEAKER_05

I appreciate that. I appreciate you. You have a blessed day, brother. Thank you so much for being on. Oh, 100%. Thank you so much for coming out, man.

SPEAKER_03

We appreciate you. We're gonna talk soon. Yes, sir. All right. Yes, sir.

SPEAKER_06

Over and out. We are back, and today, who are we with?

SPEAKER_00

Mia May, you know, it's your girl. That's right, that's right.

SPEAKER_05

It's a pleasure seeing you again. You've been busy. Yes, I have. No, you've been through making music, working with baby bash alongside. How you feel after you just got off the stage?

SPEAKER_00

I feel great. It's been honestly a minute since I performed because I've been so busy with college. I'm about to um graduate this year from college in the spring from a community college, and then I'll probably go to Fresno State.

SPEAKER_11

Right, shout out Fresno State.

SPEAKER_00

So I've been really busy with that, but tomorrow I'm gonna be I'm gonna be performing with Bash tomorrow too. So yeah, I'm super excited.

SPEAKER_05

So yeah, been super busy, but you know, I love performing, so it must be hard navigating school and doing all this other side projects, your passion project.

SPEAKER_00

I don't even know. And then I have an on-campus job too.

SPEAKER_05

Oh my goodness.

SPEAKER_00

So cool. I I I can do it. I can do it. Yeah, yeah. Nothing easy, no wait. Nothing great comes easy. You know what I mean? You have to work for it.

SPEAKER_06

And the hard work pays off every single time. Yeah, it does. Every single time. I mean, seeing the progress from the last time we saw you during the Fresno Fair until now, insane. I gotta ask you, how nervous were you to perform on this stage today?

SPEAKER_00

Honestly, it felt every time I'm on a stage, it feels like home.

SPEAKER_06

Oh, that's amazing.

SPEAKER_00

Uh I was a little nervous just because I hadn't been on a big stage in I'm gonna say a minute, but like I've just since school started, it's been a little it's been a minute, but it was so I was so excited. I love performing. Like, I love performing. So I was a little bit more like excited than I'm gonna be honest with you.

SPEAKER_06

I think it's better to go into something excited instead of nervous. Me personally, I got social anxiety. I hate being in the world. I forget about the crowd behind me.

SPEAKER_00

No the fuck you.

SPEAKER_06

Yes, I do.

SPEAKER_00

I got social anxiety. You guys both have social anxiety.

SPEAKER_05

Right, right. Anyways, we share, we share, we we balance it out. Sometimes, like, I'm like, dude, I'll stay in the corner. Okay. This is why he's closer to the wall.

SPEAKER_06

He feels a little more protected. So, with that being said, where can we find you?

SPEAKER_00

You guys can find me on all platforms at official me and May, um, M-I-A-M-E-I. And also, I just dropped my first cover yesterday. It's a Janet Jackson cover called Let's Wait a While. I uh I love it. It's one of my favorite songs by her.

SPEAKER_05

I saw the music video. This video is amazing. I saw it.

SPEAKER_00

Oh, you guys so love it.

SPEAKER_06

Oh my god. Thank you guys. Thank you guys. Amazing. Whoever did the work on that, that camera work, my goodness. Amazing.

SPEAKER_00

That was my dad.

SPEAKER_06

Hey, shut up. Oh, we've been insane. We've been saying that.

SPEAKER_05

You gotta get your daddy. Shout out, Frank.

SPEAKER_06

For real.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, he's insane. He's insane. We love that. Thank you guys. Thank you for watching it. Oh my god.

SPEAKER_06

We gotta support local, and that's what we're all about. And we're just grateful to be able to capture a scene like this for you. Hopefully, in the near future, obviously in the next few years, we can come back and reminisce this entire scene and just go back and remember the days. Oh, thank you. I appreciate you stopping with you.

SPEAKER_00

You guys are amazing. I love that you guys have a little podcast. You're from Fresno, I'm from Fresno. I love it. I love it so much. Thank you guys for supporting me.

SPEAKER_06

Of course, keep doing what you're doing. We appreciate everything that you do for the Fresno, of course, in the music scene. And we just love to see what you do next.

SPEAKER_00

Thank you guys so much. It's good to talk to you guys again.

SPEAKER_06

Like fun, like button. Thank you so much. So, with that being said, we'll see you guys on the next one.

SPEAKER_00

Hey, let's go.

SPEAKER_06

Thank you. All right, Frank. Well, it's good to see you again ever since uh Fresno Fairgrounds.

SPEAKER_07

Yeah, man, it's been it's been a minute, October, right? I think I saw you guys in October.

SPEAKER_06

Yeah, yeah, for sure, man. Dude, we have been seeing the projects that you have been creating for Mia and just the things that you guys have been doing have been amazing. I just mentioned how much I love the music video that you guys curated for her the song that she just dropped yesterday. My god, dude.

SPEAKER_05

That's incredible work, man. Thank you, brother. Yeah, and it takes a lot, man. Knowing that what it takes for videographers, knowing a little bit, we don't we're not fully professionals, right? But I can only imagine how much you had to do getting the getting the shots.

SPEAKER_07

Like, bro, like you guys have no idea, bro. Like, I grew up like photography was my passion. You feel me? Like, yeah, I that's all I want to do is like to be uh a photographer, right? Yeah, and then like Mia starts singing, and she kind of like starts, you know, her career kicks off like doing music. So I got into video, right? I got into video productions, but video, it's a totally different game than photography. Yeah, if you guys know photography, like photography, you can work on a photo, be done like in 45 minutes. Yeah, but with a video, bro, like you can't be done in 45 minutes. It takes weeks to get a video done. Um, but that video was amazing, bro. We shot it in downtown Fresno. Um, we used our friend Roger Rojo is his name, and he's a graphic designer here out of Fresno. Um awesome dude. He had a really cool car, bro, and we shot it in downtown Fresno, right here by Grizzly Stadium, bro. Right at right at home. Right at home. Center East Fresno. We started like at 10 p.m. We're done like at 2 o'clock in the morning, bro. It's right, it was dope, bro. It's like it's dope. I mean, and then we shot in downtown Reely too, so all like night shots and stuff, but it's a blessing, bro. It's a blessing to be able to work with my daughter, yeah, do her work, you know, because like you guys know, like it can get expensive. Yeah, we're like independent, we're independent, bro. Yeah, I mean, like we don't have a big machine behind us, it's mom, it's me, it's her, and then it's like you guys supporting her, bro. So it's all family, you know.

SPEAKER_06

And we love that because everything feels like it's at home, yeah. And to think of it, even then, like you said, it's not a big machine, it's a family business, it's a family system, right? That just goes to show it doesn't take a lot of money to do a lot of things like this. Sometimes it's just about the passion of the heart and practice, right? Yeah, yeah. Now, how long have you been doing photography and videography?

SPEAKER_07

Bro, I've been doing photography for about 20 years, bro. I mean, maybe even longer than that. Like, I start keeping track, you know. But I I mean that's all I wanted to do was photography, bro. And um, I mean, it's been it's been a minute. Um, I'm a high school teacher now. I teach video productions at Salmo High School. And I teach photography, bro, but it kind of goes hand in hand. My daughter does music now, so now I I I do all hard work for her, you know. But absolutely, it's it's been a while, bro.

SPEAKER_06

Yeah, well, it's paying off because like I said, that video we seen yesterday, oh my god. I seen the videos, the promos dropping.

SPEAKER_05

I'm like, oh my god, I've seen some of the photos that you took of concrete. Oh yeah, dude, like everything that you do, it just shows the worth ethic that you got, the skills, yeah. And you you look like a professional, like straight up, bro.

SPEAKER_07

But like, dude, let me tell you guys, like when I when I started up photography and I was learning the game, um, my mentors were like guys that who were shooting like the the elite, you feel me? Like like presidents, basketball players like Michael Jordan, like these guys. I was looking up to superstar photographers, and I wanted to be like them. So like I was shooting for the stars, you know, and and like I felt like that that it paid off, you know, because like that's kind of my style, and you know, so yeah, dude, yeah, yeah, yeah.

SPEAKER_06

So I think it's even crazier being able to grow up, raise a daughter, and now you're not even just capturing for other artists, it's your own daughter.

SPEAKER_07

That's dope, dude. It's a it's a family business, dude. It's amazing. It's amazing. That's a one two.

SPEAKER_05

And it's not just one, it's the whole family. Your whole family's united. Yeah, you guys all make content together. Yeah, that's the beauty of it.

SPEAKER_07

Yeah, well, mom, you know, I gotta give credit to mom because that's where she got her vocals from, you know, from my wife. Um, and then I I'm a creative guy, I'm a creative guy. She's super creative, so it's just like it's kind of just a blessing that we all have these skills and we all put like put them towards Mia, you know. So absolutely, thank you guys, Brian. I appreciate you.

SPEAKER_06

Of course, that's awesome, brother. And thank you for always showing love for us, man. We've been rocking with you since October back at the Fresno Fair. And I mean, like I said, we hope to continue to support your work. We hope to see you guys around here more often, obviously. And hopefully, as you guys do continue to blow up in the in the music industry and in the photography, hopefully you do you don't forget about us.

SPEAKER_07

I appreciate you guys, and we got we gotta run this back like in a professional studio, like more formal and stuff. Yeah, of course. Thank you guys for all the support, all the love, you know, on Instagram. You guys share our stories, and we can't we can't do none of this without you guys. You guys are our machine, dude. So it means a lot.

SPEAKER_05

Thank you so much, of course.

SPEAKER_06

Well, thank you for being on the episode, man. I appreciate you. Thank you so much, Frank.

SPEAKER_07

I appreciate you, man.

SPEAKER_05

Thank you guys, appreciate it.

SPEAKER_07

Where can we find you, bro? So you can find me on Instagram at Frankie Leal Photography, and that's pretty much it, man. On yeah, on Instagram, brother. Yeah, absolutely. Thank you, bro.

SPEAKER_06

With that being said, we'll see you on the next one.

SPEAKER_05

Peace.

SPEAKER_12

Man, tell me the energy on stage, man. Feels good, man. I like Fresno. Oh, yes, I really heard the crowd. I love it Fresno, man. Love is here, you're gonna feel it every time you come here. Ah, yeah. That's dope. How did it feel being on stage out here? Oh man, it's just a blessing to be out here with my boy, my boy Ralph, and then my girl Sadie. We were all on the show together, and then to be together again after the show and doing shows together. It's fire, man. It's love, man.

SPEAKER_05

So, how's it been since after the show?

SPEAKER_12

It's been crazy, bro. Non stop. Journey, right? Traveling, deals, is this yeah. It's coming. Blessings are coming, man. Blessings coming, bro. Yeah. What do you have coming next? The things that I can talk about. Yes, that's coming next is definitely new music. Yes. Of course. Yes. Uh that's all I can say. Yeah, no worries. New music. No worries, no worries. Time in some deals, man. We signed the deals. Let's start, let's say that.

SPEAKER_05

Hey, you got to.

SPEAKER_12

Shout out to Snoop.

SPEAKER_05

Huge shout out to Snoop, dude.

SPEAKER_12

You know, sometimes they put you in a place to like just flourish, and he put me in a great place, and it's just like love, man.

SPEAKER_06

Now you got all the potential in the world to rock and roll.

SPEAKER_12

It's crazy, bro.

SPEAKER_06

That's right, that's right. I do have a question. Who has been your most favorite performer here today? Ralph. You hear me right now. You hear him right now. I hope the audience didn't.

SPEAKER_12

Hold on, but Sadie, when she sung at last, yeah.

SPEAKER_05

Yeah. They didn't ever know. They did it. I did it. I love the performance that you do. You give a style, you give a show, a show book to everybody. You uplift the spirits, man.

SPEAKER_12

That's just my vibe, man. I think as a as a regular person, I'm very introverted. Yeah. But on stage, I just become this other person.

SPEAKER_06

I think that's an artist.

SPEAKER_12

It's an artist in me, bro.

SPEAKER_06

Yes, yes.

SPEAKER_12

Appreciate it.

SPEAKER_06

Short enough to say you were made for this. You were made for this. Thank you, man. I gotta ask you to revert back to the interview question. We were talking about the two-man. The two-man, the two-man set up.

SPEAKER_12

Hey, listen, I seen some fine shit. Can I curse? I seen some five shit. I was normally like I go in the crowd and stuff, but I saw how deep that that drop was. Yeah. So I was really like scared of that. So I got I'm afraid of heights, bro. Yeah, yeah. So I was like, yeah, I'm not doing that this time. But I seen some fine shit. And I was like, that's the perfect two-man, because she had a friend with her. We gonna get her after the show though. Let's go, bro. Two-man. Say that. There you go. Y'all heard it here first. He's Murray. My girl's right there. She's right here.

SPEAKER_05

I'm married to the game. We next, we next, we next. I see you guys and I respect you guys. I'm cheering for y'all.

SPEAKER_12

SPEAKER_06

But with that being said, where can we find you, brother?

SPEAKER_05

SPEAKER_06

SPEAKER_15

I appreciate y'all, man. The Moreno.

unknown

Woo! Woo!

SPEAKER_06

That's right. Tell us your experience. How was it?

SPEAKER_15

Man, it was uh one of the best performances we've done in the past three years. The crowd was crazy, it was electric, man. No mistakes on the stage, at least from what I heard, at least. And uh biased opinion. But no, we had a great time, man. We we appreciate everybody on there, man. It was it was the crowd was crazy, man. Right. Crowd was crazy.

SPEAKER_06

That's right, that's right. I got a question. Who is your favorite? Who is your favorite performer here?

SPEAKER_15

Oh man, I gotta give it to my boy Ralph, man. I go, hey, that's my brother from another mother right there, man. I love him. And uh he put on this whole thing, man. I gotta give it to Ralph. He's playing right now, he's killing it right now. He's killing it right now.

SPEAKER_05

And everybody can hear him right now.

SPEAKER_15

And everybody can hear him killing it right now, yeah.

SPEAKER_05

That is a blessing to see you guys bounce back from what you guys happen. I know the tragedy. Yeah, and it's fucked up. We live in Fresno, we understand. Yep, exactly. We understand the policy. I went to Roosevelt.

SPEAKER_15

I'm like, oh, you know, I don't know about the buttons. But you guys bounce back, bounce back, bro. We adversity and all, we we had a GoFundMe that helped us uh get us back on our feet. Not only the GoFundMe, but the community stepped up and gave us instruments that we didn't have, and uh our drummer Nate, where's Nate at? Nate right there, let me play that keeper that I was playing on tonight, that red one. So shout out to Nate Dog right there, y'all. Show him some love, man. Show him some love.

SPEAKER_06

So, what can we expect from the Moreno brothers in the future?

SPEAKER_15

Yeah, moving on forward, man. We got uh we got now, we uh you tell them about that one, man. We got tours coming up at I Can't even Tell them. I can't even tell them.

SPEAKER_13

So let's just say next month we're gonna be in three cities in three days. So make sure y'all stay tuned for that. And then right after that, we're going bay to bay. Who knows what they say, you know? Just catch us out there. We'll be waiting for you. Make sure y'all follow the Moreno's band Fresno and the Moreno's Band Fresno.com. We have a lot of stuff coming up. We got the funky fresh merch. Y'all don't want to miss out on that. Give me your sizes because we got you.

SPEAKER_15

I only got one question for Jocko. Jocko, I got a question for you. What's the question? You can ask it. Oh, can I ask you a question? You can ask me a question.

SPEAKER_05

All right. You ready?

SPEAKER_15

I'm ready.

SPEAKER_05

Where the what we're at? What a wheel! Thank you guys, man. I appreciate you guys. Y'all do amazing. Thank you.

SPEAKER_15

Thank you for being on, brothers. Hey, much love, family. Of course. Appreciate you guys.

unknown

Okay, you're good.

SPEAKER_09

Yo.

SPEAKER_06

That's right. So tell us about your experience. How was it being on a stage today?

SPEAKER_09

Oh my gosh. This was like the dream venue for me. Like I love how beautiful it is. Yes. And I mean, I I've learned a lot about its history after performing here, and it's super, super cool. And I'm just honored to be able to share that stage with all the other people that have performed here. And yeah, it's just beautiful to be here with some friends that I've already known. So I'm just I'm just happy to be here.

SPEAKER_06

So that's right, that's right. Where are you originally from?

SPEAKER_09

Yeah, so I'm from Utah actually. Salt Lake City area. Um but yeah. You're our next door neighbor, you know, I just love Ralph from Friends Know, so we came out, you know how it is. Yes, yes.

SPEAKER_06

Shout out Ralph for making this happen. Uh shout out Ralph for inviting us to this event. If it wasn't for him, we would not be here being able to showcase amazing artists such as yourself. Uh with that being said, who is your favorite performer here?

SPEAKER_09

Ooh, to perform with?

SPEAKER_06

Oh, just here and performer. Yes.

SPEAKER_09

Ooh, favorite performer. I don't think I can choose. I've loved all of them. I've loved all of them for so many different reasons. Okay. So I can't, I can't say. I'm sorry.

SPEAKER_06

We respect that. Honestly, everybody today has performed amazingly.

SPEAKER_09

Yes, I can agree. Do you hear that? Yeah. Ralph's voice, I swear, is just from heaven above.

SPEAKER_06

I'm about to drop the mic and go walk out there right now. I'm not gonna lie. It's amazing. And it's amazing.

SPEAKER_05

We've done so much work with Ralph. Yes. And then we're here and we're still like, dang, like, that's still his voice. No, yeah, you can forget.

SPEAKER_09

Because he's just so chill, and then he sings, and you're like, oh, you're actually an angel. I forget, yeah.

SPEAKER_05

So how's it been after the voice for you?

SPEAKER_09

Yeah, it's been it's been amazing because I mean being on the voice is a huge opportunity in and of itself, but I feel like it's opened up so many other doors, and I mean, it's just the possibilities are endless now, and I'm just so excited to get moving forward and um new music, meeting new people, new stages like this, like Mortar's Theater, like what? This is so cool. So it's been awesome.

SPEAKER_06

What can we expect from you in the near future?

SPEAKER_09

Yeah, near future, new music very, very soon. Um, gigging more. I hope to perform more with Ralph. We've been talking about a little more, so you might be seeing a little more of kind of what this is tonight.

SPEAKER_06

So we'll definitely be there to support you guys. Yeah, you do, thank you. Of course. With that being said, that was another episode here at the Broke Boys. Where can we find you?

SPEAKER_09

On all platforms. Yeah. Instagram, Sadie.doll, TikTok, same thing. Um, and then yeah, I've got a couple singles out on all platforms.

SPEAKER_05

Kat texted me. She said, ask about McDonald's cookies.

SPEAKER_09

McDonald's cookies. We gotta know.

SPEAKER_05

We gotta know.

SPEAKER_09

I love it. Okay, so here's the here's the story, and a short little long story short. So basically, after a couple, like the first week of being out in the voice, we're all living in like a hotel all together, um, getting to know like 80 or so different vocalists, and I started to get a secret admirer. So, like one night I get roses on fr on my hotel door with a note, and I didn't know who it was, so we're trying to figure out who it is over the like next couple weeks, and then it kind of died off after a while. But then one day I get another knock at the door, and it's McDonald's cookies, which okay, don't knock them till you try them. McDonald's cookies are where it's at. Yes, okay, she she yeah, I have one cookie. If you know, you know.

SPEAKER_06

Was it the cookie tote or just McDonald's cookies?

SPEAKER_09

What'd you say?

SPEAKER_06

Was it the cookie tote or just McDonald's cookies?

SPEAKER_09

Just what's the cookie toe?

SPEAKER_06

The cookie tote's like 12.

SPEAKER_09

Oh, the cookie tote. I thought you said cookie toe. I was like, what is it?

SPEAKER_06

No, no, no, no, no, no.

SPEAKER_09

I'm dead.

SPEAKER_06

Yes. I was like, what kind of dish is that? I forgot that I need to try it.

SPEAKER_09

Yes, no, it was the tote with like the 12 or 13, yes.

SPEAKER_06

No, they love you. Yes, yes, yes.

SPEAKER_09

And anyways, there was like a little heart, and I was like, oh my gosh, the secret admire has returned. And so I'm like try texting all my friends, trying to figure it out. And then like 15 minutes later, I get a text from Ralph. He's like, hey, do you like the cookies? He pranked me. He pranked me. So that's the cookie story. If you haven't tried McDonald's cookies, you got to.

SPEAKER_06

Ralph knows best. He does.

SPEAKER_09

That man knows best. I'm like, you know, I was pranked, but I mean, I got cook I had the cookies at the end, so I'm like, you know what? It's like a win-lose kind of situation.

SPEAKER_06

I say it's a win-win. Yeah, there you go. Yeah.

SPEAKER_09

I love McDonald's cookies.

SPEAKER_06

If anybody's out there watching, if you know that my birthday is coming up and you want to give me something, you know.

SPEAKER_09

You know what to get.

SPEAKER_06

13 count. McDonald's cookie tote. Fresh though. Fresh.

SPEAKER_09

Cookie tote.

SPEAKER_06

Fresh. Cookie tote.

SPEAKER_05

They're day old out here, bro.

SPEAKER_06

What you mean, fresh? They're a day old out here.

SPEAKER_09

Hey, you just warm them up in the microwave. They're fine.

SPEAKER_06

Well, with that being said, you guys, that was another episode. We appreciate you guys for watching. Much love. Thank you so much. Thanks for having me, guys. Have a good one. See you.

SPEAKER_05

What's up everybody? We are back. And we have one of the most ruthless content creators out here who abuses the Burke Boys.

SPEAKER_14

They just don't listen. They just don't listen.

SPEAKER_05

She might be right about that. It's all jokes. It's all jokes. But thank you for coming on.

SPEAKER_14

Of course. I'm glad to be out again.

SPEAKER_05

Yeah, it's a pleasure seeing you guys doing your thing.

SPEAKER_06

Well, yeah. You did too. Yeah, you did. Miss Culture more than us.

SPEAKER_14

I know. It's been, I'm glad we both have. We both have.

SPEAKER_06

So how do you feel about the event? How did it go for you?

SPEAKER_14

I love it. I'm a huge RB fan. So like it was hard to record and not be like. But I loved it. All the performers are like really good. Like, I sound like that in the shower, I promise. Outside of there, I don't know where it goes. But no, I loved it. I love that it was in the Warner Theater, something that's very historical to press know. And I feel like it was such a staple for this event. Like it was amazing. But no, the people, the vibes, you can ask for a better Valentine's Day.

SPEAKER_06

Honestly, I was regretting Valentine's Day. I was like, I don't want to do this. I got off work. I was like, let me have some hope for the event. Ralph Bedward's gonna be performing EMA.

SPEAKER_14

That's all you need.

SPEAKER_06

You know, and then we came out here and we executed. And I'm not gonna lie, the photos that you took, I know they came out amazing. Yeah, so I can't wait to see those. But who was your favorite performance?

SPEAKER_14

I want that clip of him saying that.

SPEAKER_06

No, uh because he put me through. Caesar, do not clip this. Caesar did not. Caesar, cut that out. We can't give her that much power over us, please. Please. I will never hear the end of it.

SPEAKER_14

No.

SPEAKER_06

But who was your favorite performer today?

SPEAKER_14

Oh my gosh. Okay. I have to say my girl. Only because she's my girl, and I've I even though we're best we're friends, I'm still fan going over here, but Mia May.

SPEAKER_06
